As a trinket lover, objects I surround myself with are symbolic including the likes of dearest souvenirs loved ones have gave to me or reminders I have kept of treasured memories.
Another aspect to the things I keep is their meaning as a means of calmness or motivation such as some of the products I adore in my small online store are our fabric wall art, supporting inner balance and enlightenment with the chakra and bodhi tree along with beloved dream catchers.

3. Charkra
After every attempt possible to find inner peace, calm and motivation I stumbled across the importance of chakras in my local library before the lock down hit the uk.
Once researching and hearing phrases used and conversations with Friends and Colleges I was fascinated with the process and how this could impact your day.
Realign your chakra" the simple premise is that we are controlled by waves that balance our emotions to act a certain away, gaining control creates a element of overall peace. If you have heard of meditation or been to a class where there is meditation as part of the lesson you may have some basic knowledge.
Chakras are found back as far as 500 BC and refers to our spiritual centre infamous in the traditions of Hinduism. The chakra was revived in the 1900's with the book The Serpent Power by Sir John Woodroffe
2. Bodhi Tree
After seeing such a fascinating fabric design to sell in my store I wondered about what made this so unique in certain cultures so ended up researching the importance of the Bodhi tree.
The Bodhi Tree is a beautiful part of nature with its heart-shaped leaves, known as the tree of awakening and Religiously scared due to the story of the buddha. The tree holds its own story in buddha’s enlightenment and a day of dedication is celebrated on the 8th of December where he sat under a peepal tree and mediated till he knew the root of suffering and was enlightened.
3. Dream Catcher
First spotted by Native America the dream catcher traditionally is made by hand and woven round a willow hoop. Dream Catchers are believed to capture the dreams that fill the air of a night according to the native culture being a beloved talisman often hung on children's beds and cots, adapted by the bohemian culture as an interior accessory.
However they do have a lot of spiritual meaning carried for generations and well known to those familiar with the Lakota Legends with the catcher symbolising the sun, the circle of life and the moon.
